AutoBlog - some subsidiary of BMW? ![Think](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/think.gif)

The Autoblog version appears to be a worldwide "statement", referring as it does to RoW etc.
This "slide" was published on Autoblog last December, before the term LCI became generally known and already contained the "shock" information that the 535i was going to be introduced in the US only.
So whilst your general point about sources is well-founded, I am prepared to give more weight than normal to it even though I have to say that the UK document only makes a reference to "Brake function on cruise control (e.g. to maintain speed downhill) except 520d which receives it in 09/07".
Of course the data I show above may be a hoax designed to be accurate in all instances other than the 520d.
Or may be simply inaccurate.

The UK Autocar website has a news item today:
"The 520d saloon manages a seriously low 136g/km"
I guess this means there must have been a press release, but can't find any other info at the moment.
This would give a significant tax incentive for UK company car drivers (18% vs 24% tax on a 525d from 2008)

The current 520d's CO[sub]2[/sub] rating is 158g/km and the new 2.0td engine has a higher power rating 201HP/204PS) than even the LCI 525d with 138g/km of CO[sub]2[/sub] so it's unlikely to be that one...
Edit: I see from the article that it's the 177HP variant of this new engine (without the twin turbo) which is to be offered on the 520d which raises the HP by 14HP from the current 163HP.
