Thanks, I had seen the details on the door jam before but I was just curious if anyone knew of the last production dates. I have seen vehicles with 12/09 but wondered if production actually made it into 2010 prior to the F10 start.

Mine was 05/09 production 2010 Msport shipped to Florida. My guess is no e60s in 2010 since the 2010 BMW brochures that are downloadable are all f10s. Plus the 2010 owners manual has allot of f10 idrive and some f10 options discussed.

typically production for the following year end in the summer or somecases winter of the previous year...
for reason I seem to recall the e60 build going into 12/09 though...as production for the MY2011 F10 in early 2010.
I think the e60 M5 ended prodcution sometime in the summer of 2009

Mine is also 05/09 production, but it seems likely that the final batch would be later than that. Either way, if you're looking to nab an off-lease CPO, you should still have some time, as some cars will sit on the dealer lot/showroom prior to being leased. Good choice in cars BTW! I drove an F10 535i prior to purchasing my E60, and even without the price difference, I think I would have still gone with the E60. Don't get me wrong, there are things I like about the new F10's, but the handling/N54 engine combo of the E60 535i make it a much sportier car IMO.
