not sure to understand if you're mocking on me

don't know if the "problem" is that maybe the ventilation ducts project is way more complicate and has more "deviations" than in my previous cars, and that makes natural ventilation less efficient.

trying to use the car without microfilter may be a test to do?

I sometimes run mine with the AC off, but unless the windows are down, the vents can't keep the interior anywhere close to cool as the outside air. That said, the problem is not specific to E60 in my experience. I've had the same experience with:

2008 Infiniti G37S
2007 Infiniti G35x
2000 BMW 323ci (E46)
1991 BMW M5 (E34)
1990 BMW 535i (E34)
1988 BMW 325is (E30)
1980 BMW 320i (E21)
1976 BMW 2002

I could go on...

I agree and I think I understand what you are trying to say. Prior to my e60 I had an e39 540, 1998 I believe it was. The heating and a/c was dual zone still and digital, but the center dash vents were still manual and had an option that always allowed cool outside air to flow through the cabin even if the heat or defrost was on. As my ex-wife would say, I sweat when I think hard, so I remember especially liking this function in the Spring or Fall when I had the heat on I could still have "cool" air blowing on my face. In my e60 this is impossible to do and I too think the airflow is inefficient in that regards. I've tried every form of adjusting the airflow and nothing really helps in my opinion. Just my .02

obviously not "cool", but even if in not so hot days, I like to "feel" air in the face. And with E60 I need to use interior vent at high and noisy speed. whith my previois cars, the first and second speed was enough efficient for me, with E60 doesn't, I need to put the knob almost at half.

obviously, to have COLD car interior, you need AC. but for my need, I prefer to feel a little hot and with a little air on me than using AC

being honest there is something "digital" similar in E60,the blue and red indicator near the driver's center air vent controls, but is not efficient as, for example, was in your E39 or my E46. but the main thing is that with my previous cars I could "feel" air over me at lower speed, with E60 I can't

You can try to set the intensity of the ventilation to "high". It can be found in the "Climate" iDrive menu and then Automatic Programs. There you can choose three programs, ranging from "low", "medium" and "high".

Perhaps this helps.
