Question E60 Headlight washer nozzle replacement - bumper remove?

Hello Forum!

Glad to join this awesome 5-series community!
I finally have time to start reviving my '06 550!

Both of the nozzles seems to disintegrate over time. I picked up replacements at a local junk yard (yes these are old enough where there is a ton of stuff available now). Looking at how they are mounted, I don't think there is a way to replace these without taking off the front bumper. Perhaps if the headlights are out?

Has anyone done this repair?

Thank you everyone!

Had the bumper off loads of times but it’s easier to take out the headlights to gain access to the washer jets. Also access to horns and PDC’s

I'd add that pulling the headlights out is a very quick, simple process as well. Once you do it, it's the ONLY way to mess around with the headlights (or apparently anything around them).

I did a video on swapping the angel eye bulbs, but from 1:00 to about 3:00 it shows how to remove the headlights.

@habbyguy , great video! I did angel eyes years ago and I honestly don't remember if I was able to get it done without pulling the headlights. I'll see if there is enough space to get the nozzle out once the lights are out. From what I remember looking at the junk yard, they are bolded to the crash bar (or something else behind the bumper so it may not be easily accessible. Maybe I'll be able to loosen one side of the bumper and get to it. I'll update once I get to it.
