Changed rear pads and am having difficultly adjusting the handbrake .. have tried at the wheel end but think I need to adjust it inside the car at lever .. had a quick look but was getting dark and couldnt see the normal loosen nut adjust cable and then tighten nut routine ... ??

Is it done this way ??

Thanks

They're not rubbish design. They actually are similar to the majority of cars out there. If you jack up the rear of the car and remove 1 lug bolt from each rear wheel, you can gain access to the star adjuster wheel to adjust the park brake. the adjuster wheel will be found around the 7 "o" clock position. Tightening the nut at the handle really isn't recommended as an adjustment
