e60 fuel inejection service
Hey guys,
Just wanted to see if anyone has done the dealer fuel injection service and seen any improvement in their ride. The local dealer cost is $229.00 and I got a $50 off gift card. Just wanted to see if it's worth my while doing this. The car in question is 2007 e60 530i, being used mostly by the Mrs to haul the kids around. Her driving style is pretty calm, but she does step on it once in a while. The car has 75,000 miles on it. Any responses will be appreciated.

If the car is running fine, then don't even bother with it. They're probably going to run a bottle of BG 44K attach to the air nozzle, and while they have your car, they will try to sell you other things promising the sky.

I'd pass on that offer. N52 is not known for carbon buildup.
If you are so inclined, buy a bottle of Techron and pour in the gas tank. Get a set of new spark plugs and install them. All of that will be lot less than $229 and your car will thank you.

Techron is the way to go. Always had positive results in usually just one tank. Sams Club has a great deal on Techron and the local auto stores usually have a buy one get one deal. Good luck
