As you know, Korean dramas, movies, some visual media often use BMW, Mercedes and any other foreign high quality cars represent a image of wealth, honor and success.
But not in every case.
It is highly like to promote a new launchig car as a commercial purpose.
Foreign cars are taxed heavily in Korea, so many Koreans buy foreign cars through official dealers like the BMW Korea or the MB Korea.

I've never been to Yeosu, because I've lived in Seoul all the time.
But someday I wish to travel Yeosu with my E60.
