That's one reason US do not have diesels, the other reasons are ... and ...

The new improved 530i -engine (275 hp) as the new 535i (306 hp) meets the US emission standards.
Also the US market will get the 528i, which is a 3 litre version of our 525i (as in the E92).

We europeans will get the new, little stronger than before, 520d, 525d, 530d and 535dA with the new gearbox etc.

Available, at least as left wheel drives, in April.
Did he say do we get the 535I Bi-turbo or not ??

For US deliveries, the last of the 07 530i are being built this week and early next week. I requested a delivery in March but my CA just said all his builds got moved to December. Looks like BMWNA wants a few months to clear out all the 07s before the 528i and 535i hit the shores.

But they're not gonna hot any shores during March unless ordering is opened up soon.

True. It's possible that some dealerships may receive a factory-spec'd model in April. A 'custom' order would probably be May at the earliest...

My dealer always seems to receive a very high-spec (read almost all options) model fairly early. They've had (I think it's sold now) a ?45k 335d coupe for quite a while now...
