thats nice to hear. did your old turbo leak oil before? it could have caused all that buildup in the intake system. another thing to look at is your crankcase venting. you could have a lot of blowby gasses getting recirculated back in the engine.

Good call Turboawd!
A faulty turbo had been replaced a few months before I bought the car so you may just have have hit on the root cause there!!!
I've got the new crankcase breather sorted so hopefully won't hit the same issue again.

finally did you connected back the EGR?
