Ya same here seals are not squeeking yet but have turned whitish... and I just put 303 aeorspace protectant on them yesterday and change them back to black. If they squeek I'll get them replaced... I got 3.5 years left for that.

Read about 303 at bettercarcare.com... ordered. I can also use this stuff to detail my engine. Man I'm learning so much about detailing since I got this car.

I am wondering the same??? I have now developed this problem. Totally quite for 10 months and just last weekend it started creaking

Did you use wax in your last carwash?
It makes rubber creaking

Normally I hand wash the car but on the way to the E60 meet in the Netherlands I stopped by one of those spray em off places in the morning but only used the rinse didn't even use soap. Guess maybe some wax must have been hanging around in the lines from the last guy

I ment the so called wax included in the rincing water to protect the body.
A good test is to check if your wipers blade are also creaking.

I knew what you meant and yes the wipers chatter now too. Its a shame the car is so sensitive I mean come on 1 trip to the carwash in a year and now the door seals are creaking

My driver door was making rattle sound when driving. :'(

I put Meguiars NXT Tech Protect on my door seals last week, and it has been quiet since.

I guess it works for me but not sure how long will it last.

Hi guys, can anyone from Europe buy Carboflo for me and mail to me? Of course I will send you money. Unfortunatelly my dealer has never heard of Carboflo. I can't find it anywhere in the stores. Perhaps does anyone know some online shop? Many thanks.

Carboflo is quite expensive as I recall. Read around as some posters have used other lubricants such as o-ring lubricant from a pool supply store with pretty good success. I have held off trying one of these other options so that I can get the new door seals as soon as my dealer gets them. If I apply something that stops the creaking (even just temporarily), my dealer would likely tell me I don't have a problem, so no new seals.

As I get ready to order a new 530xi, is it safe to assume that any e60 built from this point on will have the revised door seals? My salesman doesn't seem to know much about the issue.

If the car has not been built yet, I would think your car would get the new seals.

How do you know if the creaking is a seal problem...I get creaks only at about 20 mph in traffic adn I go over small bumps. The creaks are from the rear driver side doorish...

That sounds like it. Just wait for all four doors to have it, quite annoying.
