e60 coolant not getting to heater core

Ok guys back at it for the winter, lol. I think i narrowed it down to the heater core! Can someone get a picture of how there heater core hoses are connected? ie the two inlets and the outlet? The reason being is that i noticed when i was putting the hose into one of the inlet hoses the other inlet hose had water coming out of it. This leads me to believe that they are mixed up because the driver side is sealed from the passenger side hence the two watervalve solenoids! Hopefully this is it.
What also makes me think this is the problem is, when i feel the hoses, the inlet hose to the water valve which i have now bypassed is hot BEFORE the "T" which replaced the water valve. And cold after it. Also its a gradual hot... from the rad its super hot then gets cooler and cooler and cooler till its not hot nevermind warm at all at the firewall. I figured that the hoses were on wrong and cool coolant was just getting trapped because there was no way for it to be returned to the engine it was just being routed the watervalve which caused a lock.
Please guys i just want to get this figured out.
