e60 brake pad change

When I change the pads usually get a syringe without the needle and empty the reservoir. Compress the pistons in the calipers and suction the fluid again almost to empty and refill with new fluid. I know it's not a complete flush but most of it gets taken out, better than leaving contaminated fluid in there.

I like those ideas, but if I am changing the fluid every 2 years I see little value in this extra work.

And often the brakes and fluid svc can coincide if the timing is close enough where it makes sense to do it.

Certainly can't hurt but not something I will bother with I think.
