All,

My wife just about took off one of my 535's rear passenger doors backing out of the garage w/ door open (she looked over her shoulder to see that my 8 year old child was buckled up - but he never closed his door and there you have it. I did ask her if she heard a chiming sound - no answer. Anyway, the door + hinges have to be replaced (column not bent thank goodness). What is the best way (other than seeing the old/removed parts) to verify that they dont use refurbished/junkyard parts for my repair. Its costing me $2500 w/ OEM parts. I have not been to a body shop in 15 years. Women Drivers...

OUCH!!! Good luck! Please update your info to reflect your location. That way others may at least recommend a reputable shop.

Sorry to hear that man. But at least she was more concerned for the welfare of your son right?
