E60 Service Manual
It doesn't look like there is a DVDROM version for some reason, I wonder if they'll issue one?

Charlie Burke, Senior Editor, and Nick Czerula, Automotive editor and diagnostician, will give a presentation on the pros and cons of condition based service (CBS), as used on late model BMWs. There will be a hand out covering this topic and an on-car CBS tech demo in the Bentley shop. An open forum Q&A session on other BMW tech topics will take place after the presentation. The folks at Bentley are especially interested to hear from us about issues and problems we are having with service and repair information. So bring your questions and try and stump the experts!
Maurice Iglesias Sales Manager will also provide an overview of their business in the historic building where Bentley Publishers resides at 1734 Massachusetts Ave. Cambridge MA 02138. Be the first to hear about their upcoming E60/61 5 Series manual, including a special offer for those attending!
We will wrap up the Event, after a pizza lunch courtesy of Bentley Publishers, between 12PM & 1PM.
You must pre-register on the Chapter website www.boston-bmwcca.org in order to attend. This Event will be limited to forty persons attending due to space constraints so register early!
Event Coordinator: John Sullivan

From Harvard Square Cambridge continue North on Mass. Ave. until you see the large yellow house at 1734 Mass. Ave. that Bentley Publishers is located at. Parking is very tight in this area (carpooling is encouraged) so you may have to hunt for a spot to park. They are located just before Porter Square on the left side of Mass. Ave. heading North.

Thanks very much for this update. I just placed my pre-order. I've been looking for this manual to be published for some time. I asked Bentley several times and they refused to forecast a pub. date. I have an e39 and got the Bentley manual for it as soon as it was available and it has saved me much more than it cost by allowing me to repair all sorts of little issues. Anyone who is planning on keeping an e60 past warranty ought to order one of these things.

Just ordered mine, I have been waiting for 2 years for a manual.
I like doing car work but I'm not comfortable tearing into a modern BMW without SOME instructions and guidelines...
