Hello all, I meandered my way over to the F10 section and happened upon tony.f10's amazing work in progress F10 5 Series.
In particular what I'm inquiring about is, if you will notice, his F10 5 Series actually has an "F 10" badge; I've never seen that before (perhaps someone can shed some light as to whether or not the specific badge is part of a BMW option(s) package).
Anywho, I'm just wondering if it would be possible for me (and anyone else interested for that matter) to near replicate the same badging, however of course with an "E60".
As such, would anyone else be interested in this?

easy.
go find an E30 325e. snag the 'e' part of the badge. go find an E65 760Li. snag the '6' and the '0'. there's your E60 badge, and it's all OEM.
that F looks like it came from a Lexus.

Nope, that's his own custom work.

You can buy these BMW chassis code emblems here for $9.00.
Chassis Code Emblem For E60/E61 - BMW 5 Series and M5 - 2004-2009 From bimmian.com
Never used them myself. Doesn't appeal to me.
I see tony.f10's chassis badge is black. He probably achieved that color by buying the emblem from the above website, then using PlastiDip on them before installation.

I agree that they are similar to, but not identical to the BMW OEM model badges. Not as nice or rich looking.
