I assume this topic has been discussed dozens and dozens of times so sorry to be repetative. Just curious if anyone has ever thought of upgrading to F10 angel eyes. I have asked at the dealer about looking up the bulb size the F10 uses for its angel eyes. Dealer wasn't able to find the bulb size in the parts computer.

The WeissLicht Ultra-Bright LED Angel Eye Upgrade seems to be a nice look on any BMW, is anyone running these bulbs in there E60? I currently have some shitty "LED 6 Watt Angel Eye Bulbs by City Vision Lighting" given to me by a friend which I am trying to give back the light output is terrible the inner AE is twice as bright as the outer. Not to mention my car thinks the bulbs are out everytime I start the motor.

Any auggestions/input would greatly be appreciated.

Btw I have an LCI w/ adaptive xenons.

the design of the e60 AE's are completely different from the F10 xenon LED AE's

LCI: e60 xenon headlamps have a Halogen H8 bulb. This one bulb (per headlight) illuminates both the inner an outter ring (light is reflected into the outter right). So unfortunately it's hard to get a uniform brightness between both rings. In order to get the F10 AE look you have 2 options IMO.

1) HID bulbs (but the inner bulb can be too bright for some and can wash out the xenon headlamps)

2) Orion V2 LED rings. This requires some work tho, including opening up your headlights....

Just curious what other members changed out there AE bulbs to?

HID AE's sounds a bit extreme! The WeissLicht set seems to be the best looking I have seen online, but pictures can be deceiving!

While some guys have had good luck with the WeissLicht LED AE bulbs, I decided to return mine after a few weeks due to ongoing error codes on both sides.
