My BMW 545i 2005 recently lost all right front and right rear audio. When I set the balance of the speakers to the right via Idrive I can only hear the subwoofer under the driver seat. When balance is set to the left, the subwoofer + left front and left rear is playing fine. Nothing from any right side speakers. Once in every 10 times I drive the car there is no audio at all and when I power-off the car and power-on again the left channels only + subwoofer will provide audio. Is there any wiring to check or does anybody have any recommendations ?

I'm having issues with my left speakers as well but don't know which one, sounds like one is partially blown. Is it easy to blow these speakers? Has anybody come across this?

My audio crackles and only plays out the left when a CD is playing, through Radio is sounds ok but man is it ever quiet. I just "upgraded" from an '06 325i Sport with Logic/Pro Audio and the audio in this 5.. well it sucks!.. What can I do to fix... I've heard that simply replacing the 4 main speakers will do a lot but I like some thump... can anyone help understand why left only plays and cracks with CD but sounds ok with FM radio... also how do I set balance through iDrive?
