Default E60 545 needs an exorcist (possibly electrical problems)

Hello guys my car is going crazy !!
I’ve changed the generator/altenator and did check the cable from generator to dme and all the fuses and they are ok

Does anyone have any idea what can be the issue?
What should I check? Or change?

Btw sometime I have the error 28d7 dme can’t communicate with generator and the car misfires

How's your battery doing? Load test and charge cycle histogram are my go-to battery diagnostics.

The first thing I would have checked was the MPM in the trunk. Should be where the spare tire is. Little grey/white box. Unplug it and see if there any corrosion on the connectors. Also look at it and see if there's any water damage. Next I would have check the battery and then grounds in the engine bay. Between all those you should find your issue

I didn’t check the histogram or did any load test but for sure it doesn’t charge like it should already planned to get one on Monday

Battery charge histogram will tell you a lot. Then next, I go to the alternator test.

Charge cycle histogram shows how your battery has been charging over a few days.

I did new battery registration and I don’t have now the histogram 😅 but battery voltage was 12.2 charging at idle was 13.9 I’ve had the car for almost 1 hour in use and the battery was at 12.4 I assuming that’s not normal

Ooh you're off on voltage. You need to be around 14.7v. 13.9v is low especially on a reset. You're still having the same electrical issues?
