Hello all.

About a week ago I cleaned my DPF which appeared to have been successful as since I cleared the error code with INPA and drove 200 miles the error code hadnt returned. I used Anzafin's guide to clean it.

I then had a minor issue with the way the car was running. I was getting lots of lag upto 1500-2000 rpm when the turbo really kicks in and it gets going. It wasdefinitely very flat before this and not right.

I ran a diagnosis and the following codes came up.

3ff1 (3264) air mass sensor ? error counter 17
4298 Lambda probe ? error counter 1
3F35 Boost air hose monitoring in idle running ? error counter 2
483d throttle valve actuator ? error counter 1

I also had these two glow plug codes but presume these are not related.
4212 glow plug cylinder 1
4262 glow plug cylinder 6

I thought I needed a new Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF)? But somebody also suggested I needed to check for a boost leak.

Then a few days ago as I was 5 miles into a 30 mile journey my car went into limp mode after a few miles of driving. It then came out of limp mode but seemed really laggy again and a bit down on power. I checked the error codes when I got home and they were the same as before without the lambda sensor code and with the dpf code.

My local BMW will clean the dpf for £300 but I'm considering having another go myself and searching for a boost leak. Any advice would really be appreciated before I waste any time or money
Many thanks,

Matt
