Heya, new bmw owner here. So recently I bought Bmw e60 2008m that was in accident and airbag deployed. I changed positive battery cable (bst) and it started but only two times and when I tried to run it again there was no cranckling sound, just the same sound as with the damaged bst cable. Everything works fine (radio, lights), but starter doesnt run, only tick sound. Battery was fully charged but still no luck. Any ideas how to fix that? Is it possible that airbag error can cause this problem?

When an airbag deploys in any new model car the computer has to be reset before you can start it. You should be getting an airbag light.

It did click sound. I changed BST cable, new battery and nothing has changed. Then I sorted out that it could be starter problem and it was the reason why car didn't start. Starter is changed now and car starts easily.
