E60 525i Diffential into 530i
 

Hi everyone,

It's my first time posting on this forum.

I am from New Zealand and own a E61 530i (N52)

I tried searching but there is not much information about differentials.

I heard that the diff on a 525i has a higher final gear ratio than 530i.
If this is true, then replacing my current diff with one from a 525i will improve my acceleration.

Does anyone have any information on the two diff from 525 and 530?

Any information / advice would be much appreciated.

Based on RealOEM - both are equal, but I compared europien versions. You can try to compare it by yourself here, maybe its different in your country
