Not only that, I would highly recommend replacing your gearbox fluid with ZF Lifeguard 6. Improper fluid can cause problems As long as your transmission pan is comparable to the ZF one I wouldn't worry too much about it being from Febi. Don't forget to reset adaptations in EGS after you do any servicing of your transmission. Good luck!
Just got my codes scanned with Delphi and there was no errors on AT module. I'm able to read values like temperature of AT and some other values, so ODB seems to be running fine. I found few codes on Engine ECU and DSC, but I think they're related to Battery that needs to be replaced soon, as I'm noticing low voltage errors on cold weather.
Engine errors`: 27FB 299D 281D 29A9
DTC: 5F62 (This looks like steering angle sensor fault, I will need to clean sensor disk. I've noticed steering can be hard once in 10-20 days).

So I will try to get sleeves and 6 liters of Lifeguard6 oil as soon is possible. Will get you guys updated.

I'd get a fresh battery in there before you do ANYTHING else. Yes, a weak battery can cause all sorts of problems in the E60 - it's an energy hungry car.

Just got a fresh 90AH battery installed, and adaptations cleared with ISTA but transmission issues still same.
Guess I have to change sleeves and sealing all with LG6 fluid now

Hi Aleksandar, sorry to her about the tranny problems. My tranny makes the same "bump" when changing from 2 > 1 gear, but only when the engine/oil is hot and on normal to hard brake, if i brake until 10km/h and the let it a little and then brake the "bump" disappears.
When the engine/oil is cold the "bump" is gone. I've changed the oil but still have the "bump" and a leak on the transmission plug (i put new plug but still leaks)

Hi everyone! Small update on topic: I've got in touch with ZF experts in Austria, and they declared my Torque Converter clutches as worn, and that is main reason for "slips". Just left my car at nearby service area to get my Wandler refurbished. Will post results after I get my car back.

As of rough shifting, there is tranny software update that solves issue with 2 > 1 "bump" that is applied to firmwares dated from year 2008. That can be done at local BMW dealership or via INPA (if there is any articles related to that, I'll be happy to check versions in my car and post back DIY results, before going to dealership).

Also, I've got ZF 6HP adaptation guide from them (in German though), and I will get it translated and posted here asap.

Hi Aleksandar,
My car is up to date to latest version available, and still have that bump when changing from 2>1. Anyway i want to make a tranny software tuning via XHP Flashtool to Stage 3. The expert from RBT Tuning says that after the software tuning the bump may disappeard. Will see

Where did you update your firmware to latest version? Do you have files?

Also, big thanks to KyleB and all of you guys that helped me get this slipping issue solved, it was Torque Converter that caused issues that I've explained. Getting it rebuilded solved all issues with slipping and also my consumption improved for like 10-20%.

I've done it with ISTA-P, v65 (i think) daten files, update all modules on the car. Or you can do it individualy with WINKFP.

That was clear from the beginning. I hope you will get a cheap and good repair. E60 still rocks.

EDIT: Done! Good for you.
