Received the dynavin today but it has no slot to insert the SD CARD. Y is that? I noticed that the ones I google has 2 slots as this one has none. But it came with the SD CARD

 

hey guys, it has been a month. What are thoughts after more time with the unit?

Does the iDrive knob let you work the keyboard functions or is that have to be touch screen?

 

Well having issues with mine. It doesn't want to stay on. It just cuts off and on. Originally I thought it was a loose cable on the power connector but it's not the case. The issue it's inside the unit. Also I heard that these dvn-e60 models came with issues. Well atleast the first run of rhem. Needless to say I have one of them. Looking to get it fixed ASAP

 

It's actually a nice system when it's ON. I love streaming pandora and spotify. The nav is soso. Probably because were I have the antenna. The screen it's not oem quality and suffers from glare in the daytime But overall it's not bad Hopefully I can get it fixed and start to enjoy it

 

This runs on windows CE, there might be better nav apps available later with better map quality etc., this is worth the price for now, the other thing you could try is copy the sd card to a better quality microSD card for faster reads. Glad it works for you!

 

I hope you plugged in the OEM cable to the unit along with the dynavins connections, remember there is red sticker (says plug this first) which can be overlooked. I made that mistake as well.

 

I ended up getting the upgraded igo maps from eBay. Gives me points of interest and 3d maps. The main power harness that connects to the dynavin is not oem. That's the one that in the instructions it says to plug in first. Am I missing something ? I know that Theresa oem harness left over that doesn't fit to the dynavin. Did u have the same?
