Just thought I'd share. Had a dyno run along with members of an Acura TSX meet yesterday. Results? Disappointing to say the least. I've seen 330s dyno-ing in the 190s.

Conditions:
humidity 43%
temperature 81 F

Interesting note: After the run, the car went nuts with Dynamic Drive fault, Servotronic fault, ABS and DSC fault, and a seatbelt warning that wouldn't turn off 2 restarts took care of that!

It's roughly 40hp loss => 18% loss due to drivetrain. Thanks for sharing.

So my 550 could have ~295hp at the rear wheel Nah, who cares. As long as I feel the fun, I'm fiiinnnnnne

All in all, I guess hp lost from crank shaft to rear wheel is about 15-20% (?) depending on how efficient the drivetrain is. I've been told that BMW drivetrain is quite efficient.

i really think numbers dont matter as long as you are happy with the drive...i mean even a Hyndai Azera has 268 bhp but i doubt if it really is....and who cares even if its true...
