Do you know if the navigation dvd system could be used as DVD Video reader using some tricks?

There's no easy way of making this work (without spending lots of money)
It's a pity isn't it... it wouldn't have cost much to add a DVD decoder to allow you to watch movies when the car is stationary at least.

And then, at least the ones I've seen, can't even show the pictures in the correct aspect ratio.
It's truly a limited market.
