hi everybody
does anyone on u guys have the dvd slot that install in top of the roof ?
i want some pictures of that and some information plz let me know about this accessoriey

hi
i,m from IRAN and i mean that i saw it in an original cataloge of BMW,s that it was a DVD player that install in above ur head before the sunroof don,t u have any pic or any information of this dvd player
plz end it for me thank u veryvery much

i believe the option you saw was for an X5 or X3, not E60 as i've never seen a pull down dvd thats OEM for the 5er.... for future assistance, go into the 'My controls' menu on the top of the screen and update your user profile with your location and edit your signature with your car specs, it will make assisting easier as many options are region specific

It is also in the UK Touring brochure too, never heard of anyone with it fitted though.

There is a new system available since last September, at least in Italy: it's a roof mounted docking station for a battery-operated, portable, DVD player. It's a very expensive toy, with a total cost of about 2.200,00 euros. The player itself seems to be an American product, by Audiovox or Visteon. All S.A. in italy have all the information about it in their BMW network. It's a retrofit package only, it's not possible to order it directly from the factory.
