I have a '08 550i with a DBD iDrive. I'd like to upgrade to the more modern 2010 HD based system. Is that possible?

Thanks in advance?

Is it 1080p? Does it play Blu-Ray discs? I want one.

Ok, ok, all kidding aside... see the post in the mods forum (2010 i-drive retrofit thread). Some people are in the process of attempting this, but no success yet.

yes it does. because I have an 05 according to the guy that generates the codes and does the coding I'm at 99% that it will work. Since you have an 07 you're at 100%. if you're really interested in this retrofit send me a pm so I can give me more info.
