I recently upgraded from Progman 25 to 27. When I had ver. 25 the DVD Drive was dimmed in the Idrive display. Yesterday, I detected that after the upgrade it had turned white as the rest of the options (CD, CD1, CD2, etc). Today I tried it with a CD with MP3 songs, and it played it. However, it still does not support playing DVD films.
Anyone out there who knows what else is new i ver. 27.

Since v20.xx.xx and retrofit to MP3 I have never NOT been able to play MP3 in the DVD slot through v24 and v25. When someone cannot do something it is not necessarily the lack of feature or capability of the PROGMAN version, rather it is a error in the upgrade process on your specific vehicle. My post elsewhere on PROGMAN (search "PROGMAN") v27.00.00 includes the fixes of which this issue was not listed nor should it have been.
Now I am not sure how old your car is and if it predated PROGMAN v20 it is possible you were never upgraded to play MP3, but I would need to know your history and also if you were able to play MP3 in the single slot of the in-dash CD player prior to your latest upgrade.

My car is 530 dAT 2006 model produced in october 2005. I have always been able to play MP3 in the single slot of the in-dash CD player. After the upgrade to ver 27 I'm also able to play MP3 in the DVD drive, which was not possible with ver. 25.
