Hey I was just wondering if the DVD drive (where your navigation disc is in) can read movies. It doesn't on mine so I was wondering if it did for anyone.

Won't do it from the factory, but I did come across this website DiagSoft.

Anybody know about this company and its products??

The above will only get TV/Video in motion. It does not activate the DVD rom to read DVD movies unfortunately.
The only way to get this going is through an external unit.

So I went in to the dealership today cause I was getting the car fitted for MP3 CD compatibility and some maintenance and I asked the salesman if it reads movies, sadly it doesn't. Not even the 2010s will, according to the salesman.

how much does it cost to do the mp3 programming? does anything else get updated at the same time?
