I just added a set of 18" Borbet Type VS wheels with 245/45R18 Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 tires. I purchased this package used, but the tires still have plenty of tread left.
I think the combination looks pretty good. Clearly there is plenty of room in back for wider tires, but not bad. I'll post pictures later.
Initial impressions on cold, clear roads. The winter tire pattern, with Dunlop's patented "sipe" system, causes a slightly rougher ride over OEM wheels/tires. But I'm sure I will have forgotten this fact when I experience the benefits once the snow comes...which could be this weekend here in MD.
