The dealer looked at the tires today, and with 19,638 miles on them, I'm getting a new set of 4 tires because of their unusual wear patterns. I couldnt be happier...

Thanks to everyone here - especially RUDY - for sharing this tidbit. Saved me $1500 I am sure...

I have to admit, my BMW dealer does an amazing job of keeping me happy. I am probably one of their most persnickety customers (always polite and appreciative though...) and they do a great job - enough to keep me very loyal.

A tip for you folks - after an earlier issue where the SA went above any beyond for me, I wrote a letter to the OWNER of the dealership praising the service I had gotten and naming the SA by name and praising him. I also copied the Service Manager. Let's just say my SA thanked me once, and since then, my service couldnt be better. Take the time to write nice letters from time to time, since most people only write sh*tty ones...

Man, talk about getting it done under the wire! Less than 400 more miles and they may not have honored the bulletin!

Glad they took care of you!

Uh, that would be 362 miles left, to be precise. I would have gone another day or two, but they couldnt get me in later in the week.

I learned about the TSB here many months ago and never got around to it until now. How funny to milk every mile.

Since I'll get crushed on excess mileage when I return the car, this will definitely help the dollar cost averaging for the lease itself.
