Does anyone know if the DTC/DSC is left in normal mode does this cut back on engine horsepower even if your not in a wheel spin. For the past two days I have been driving with DTC/DSC limited and the power is beastly. I see that the traction control comes on less frequent and more sporadic. Its very difficult to gun it and not have some form of traction control kick-in, there is so much power. It feels like I have been driving with half the engine before I started driving in limited modes.

Absolutely see the same thing - full throttle starts on my 545 can invoke DSC and retard the engine power despite no discernible wheelspin, it's much less of an issue with DTC. I'm not comfortable having no electronic watchdog so the most I ever do it DTC/limited DSC and that seems to work out pretty well.

For max. HP, turn both DSC and DTC off--wheelspin or not.

If you push the DSC button once, it will activated the limited version (will show up in I-Drive screen) If you hold it down for a couple seconds it will completly disable both systems.

Both systems disabled for max performance. Also you have to be very carefull not to do smth stupid. The rear end slides so fast under full throttle. I was amaized when i saw the car fish tiling even at 50-60km/h under sudden full throttle, kick down and boom like 20-30m of wheelspin.
Also the lack of lsd in corners makes the car really tricky to make it drift nicely.
Also you'll have to pay attention at launch rpms especially if u have the dsc completly off.

Both take significant HP away. The nannies are annoying. I always turn both off unless I am on a high speed road or in wet weather.
