I hate to admit this, but the same thing happened to me. I came from a I6 Steptronic 530i, and while I enjoyed using the step on occasions, the auto seemed fine for me. When I got the 550i I was somewhat disappointed in the auto. Initially I was a little scared (I'm a girl - I have an excuse

) to try the sport and paddles, and then I read Rudy's review of the SAT. WOWZA!!!!! What a difference...... the car is now a blast to drive and I very rarely drive in D unless I'm stuck in a lot of traffic, which is not very often here in small town NC.

Im thinking of adding sprint booster. Ive heard good things about it. It suppose to wake up the car even more
