yes - DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS ON. Do i have to have my engine running. I've tried it with key position 1 and 2. No worky worky

that is the problem. the dealer is not aware of this function

thanks for the input, but i still do not understand. does that mean this function does not work for me at all because the car is EU?

DRL in Europe on your car (pre-LCI) is xenon!

thanks! now everything is clear. DRLs on my car are xenons also!

My LCI (Non Xenon) has DRL actoivated through IDrive, and the lights come on with the Ignition when the light switch is set to Auto.

I have to say they look just like normal dipped beams on and have not noticed the inners being brighter. So I wonder if cars with the Xenon's have a different looking DRL setup???

I'm gonna go have a wee look...might have not noticed it!!
