Honestly I do D mostly because with all the stop / go traffic I do the car stays in the high rev area a little too much when in DS.
HOWEVER, when I get my RPI exhaust I'll be in DS all the time wooo wooooooooooooo !!!!

I used to drive in manual mode a lot but now that I have the sprint booster I usually keep it in D and D/S for some real fun 
. When I am in stop and go or on a parking lot I just go to manual mode and keep it in 3rd gear so it's nice and smooth and no shifts.
