HAS ANYONE REMOVED THE INNER DOOR PANEL ON A E60, I NEED TO RENEW THE DOOR LOCKING SOLENIOD, I HAVE THE NEW SOLENIOD, BUT I DONT WANT TO DAMAGE THE PANEL, I KNOW I HAVE TO DISCONNECT BATTERY, MANY THANKS

i also spelt solenoid a strange way as well, i will try harder next time , thanks

many thanks for info, managed to do door solenoid without unpluging airbag ( stood door card on a box of budwieser). so no fault lights to worry about

Once you get the actual door panel off, how do you remove the leather trimmed "door card"???

By drilling out the plastic rivets.
