Hi there,
Had a great ED trip last week. The only negative was the delivery center drilled two holes (narrow) in the front bumper to affix the U.S. plate holder. I pulled the plate holder slightly away from the bumper, and I could see the screws through the bumper. On the top holder, they put the temp Euro plate.
Yeap, I'm being a bit of baby about this, but I'd like to have a clean front bumper. I've seen bumper plugs, but these seems fairly big and too obvious.
Any suggestions?
Could I beg for VPC to swap out the bumper? Maybe off a car doing a M kit?
Just wish I sorted this out prior to ED. Was too busy doing other stuff.

I don't think BMW will replace your bumper, they did it because they follow the law. I wish they didn't drilled holes on my bumper either.
If you mentioned before the purchase, tell them don't drill the hole otherwise you won't buy the car, I am sure they are probably willing to break a small law to make the business, but it's all too late now.

I stupidly dinged my rear bumper a few months back and had it reparied at a bumper specialist shop called Bumper Doc. They use a soft filler and then prime & paint using PPG paints. It only took one day. It's much cheaper than replacement and I can't tell that it's been repaired. It cost around $350 to fix vs. $1800 for replacement quoted by my dealer's insanely expensive body shop. Although, I think you could shop and get it new for around $1k. Google for bumper repair shops in your area and check out some example work if you want to save a few $'s.

I specifically requested my front bracket not to be installed. My dealer told me that it was the law here in NJ but would bend the rules. <_<

CONGRATS on the car how about M pack???front...or both
Well, I'm about the only person on this forum who prefers the stock look to the M pack. Believe that? I really like the sides as is. As for the M pack front and rear, these are just okay. Even the M5 looks just okay. Sorry.
Okay, flame suit on.
