Man I just had that leak fixed behind my transmission as well about WEEK AGO. The worst part about it...I did a new clutch less than a year ago...if only it was thought about at that time. I love my car but it depresses me more and more.

How much did you pay for this repair?

Is so, you may want to see this:

Impressive video. All German Auto is not far from me, but I've never used them or heard from anyone else who has. After watching this I wouldn't hesitate to take my car there for work I couldn't do myself. I also know the company that makes that tube. I used to work in Boy Scouts with one of the owners. Very well respected place. Nice fix.

most these issues are easily taken care of.. very easy todo if you have patience and have basic knowledge of how things work.

it takes passion to own a BMW, and if you cant fix most of these issues on your own

if you are not passionate enough ,

then honestly..... dont BUY/OWN a BMW..... these car are just not for you.

just my raw 2 cents.

I agree, with that kind of money you can buy the tools you need to DIY. Also learn a thing or two.
