I read somewhere that it was 114mph, maybe 104mph, I cant remember.
Its closer to 104mph in 1/4 mile for the 545.

Ah I guess I looked over the legal drag strip part. Still good info to know if you decide to take it to the highway ever.
Trust me I'm not that stupid, is would Never endanger other people in public roads. Thats just stupid.

I can't think of a less likely drag strip car than an E60.

120 ... you will feel like your doing 50mph... when you get to the 140 150 range is when you get that feeling.. you know the one when your heart is in you ass... and the hot flashes start... you`ll be fine at that speed... but like the other guys said on the drag strip. your luky to hit 100....

When I get my 545i I wanted to go to a legal drag strip to drag race my friends. Of course I would do this after about 2-3 months, once I have gotten used to the car. But I am just concerned about safety. So I just wanted to know what the dangers of drag racing are.
The car is stock and I would keep the electronic stability control on. Is it difficult to control the car at a speed of about 120mph? I've seen some guys push a 545i to 288km/h without a problem. What are some ways to make it safer?
Thank you

remember to lighten the car light.
less fuel.
take out the crap in the boot and inside.
go for a $hit lol.
check tyre and air.
give the car a clean and possish.
I think you should try is get a sprint booster and test it with and without
