Hello guys.
So i have my looked at my board computer and it's saying that my DPF will have to be replaced in 3500km. The question is - do i have this warning because the car detected that the DPF filter is blocked, or because the computer knows that the filter has to be changed every 200 000km?Other day i have driven like an hour @ 3500-4000 rpm. Do you think that this have cleaned it?

Thanks

How many miles on the car? When was it last changed? How long have you had the car?

You have to get the error codes read. If there's a mention about a clogged DPF, then it's clogged for sure. Difficult to say anything about the onboard computer info.

The car have 180k km and i don't think that the dpf was ever changed.

Witch software can i use to reset the dpf mileage that is shown at my board computer?

I thing that I'll remove my dpf when completely clogged. And what software can i use to bypass the computer and not get errors when it's removed?

I think you can reset the mileage with DIS, but I'm not sure about the software that is needed for removing the regeneration. Maybe NCS? Ask member Blood, I think he might have the answers.

DIS can force a regeneration but if it almost due for replacement I don`t think you get away with it. It`s bloody expensive to replace £1200.
