i asked the guy who remapped mine if i could drive without the dpf and he said it would be fine. i didn't do as many miles as that but everything was ok no error messages or engine management lights so i guess you will be ok.

You'll be fine that 130 miles without the DPF. If it happens that the car decides to start the regenerating, the sound may be interesting, but nothing more .

Your problem might be the MOT test.
Make sure you know what the effect on your emissions will be.
I know plenty of cars do not have a DPF, but are they set up differently to reduce the junk out of the back?

I understood that the OP is going to a programmer and get the DPF removed from the car's software as well.
At least here in Finland there's nothing in MOT test where they would measure anything concerning the DPF. Of course, if the authorities notice that there's no DPF in a car which should have it, you may run into problems. I would solve this by removing the DPF physically, then removing the filter part inside it, and then installing the empty can back. Then I would remove it from the software.
