BMW to co-design Airbus interior

German carmaker BMW has confirmed it is to help Airbus design the interior of the aircraft-maker's new A350 jet.

Does this mean there will be rattles from the rear parcel shelf and the window seals will need replacing after 6 months?

OMG.

"Sorry faulks. No coffee on board. The coffee machine is waiting for a CIP release. After the software will be updated there is a slight chance we'll have coffee on board, but maybe it will be tea, who knows. The real bad news is... Every other airplane has it allready, but we'll have to wait a couple years for the software. We apologize for the inconvenience"...

The Cirrus SR22 ( http://www.cirrusdesign.com/ ) beat Airbus to the punch. I remember reading a few years back that they used the BMW 5 as inspiration for the interior of the plane.

Let me digress a little...CIRRUS...wasn't that the first real Bangle butt? I remember hating it back in the '80's!
