My Ride: '05 545i - scheduled for ED pickup in Munich on 7/22!
Compared to other cars I've owned (Boxster, E36 328i, Grand Cherokee), my 545 Sport w/ OEM RFT's make a distinct sound when it hits a bump or pothole. Instead of a heavy crashy sound like other cars, it makes a muted thud or click. The impact definately sounds quieter and less violent, but eerily strange nonetheless. It almost sounds like the suspension is made out of plastic or something.
Does your car sound like this?
Is the E60 just simply softer sprung and more insulated? Or is it indeed made out of plastic?
