Does the CD changer play MP3s?

No, definitely not.
MP3s can only be played in the in-dash CD (and DVD) drives. Though you'd have to take the nav disc out to do the latter............

I have just installed a CD changer (got it almost for free in case you ask why I didn't buy an ipod interface) and Tuesday my dealer will code it. According to them, the latest firmware should support MP3.
However, judging from some posts about this on our forum, I'd say my dealer is probably wrong. Still I'm quite curious.
I'll let you know about the outcome next week. Also if the update gave me any new features...

I wonder if its a country thing...My CD player on the center console plays MP3s...not the DVD player.
