I bought replacement licence plate housing from my dealer for $12. The bulb did not even work and both my LED bubls blew out within 2 hours. I just ordered the whole replacement housing and I want to return the housing. Does BMW accept part returns? I know Acura does within 30 days....

Make the call and find out. I'll be heading to my local stealer this afternoon. I'll also inquire.

Most dealer parts departments are real sticklers about electrical components. But if you have the receipt, original packaging, and the item shows no signs of wear/use then you have a chance. You may still get charged a restocking fee.

Being polite will certainly help.

The parts counter was closed when I got there but the SA told me(you) to just try and return the part. You might luck out with a parts guy in a good mood. Pukka has got it right. Walk in with a smile on your face. GL.
