You have to see it in person. I have not seen one photo that accurately shows the true color.

Love it. Especially the black lower portion, dosen't show dirt like grey or beige.

I have the auburn. Everytime someone new gets in the car, I get a compliment.
I would get it again.

After having gray in all my BMW's for the past 10 years I was tired of it (even though I still like the way gray looks). I don't like all black interiors at all. I like beige....but not the E60 beige. The only one left that was available in the US was Auburn. Even though I liked Auburn I was worried that it may be to orange, or that I may get tired of it fast. I ended up ordering Auburn but I was worried......until I picked up the car....since then I just love it and am SOOO glad I ordered it every time I get in the car. What truly surprised me is how many compliments I get. I thought for sure that even though I liked it that it would be too much for most people. Without exception the first comment I get from people who see my car is how much they like the Auburn interior. Never mind the car itself, the exterior color, the M-kit, etc.....it's always the Auburn interior that get the first compliment. I also love the two tone setup with black (even though I would never get an all black interior...I think that hides all the design of the interior and it just all blend together).
I would highly recommend getting the Auburn over the gray (as well as all other E60 interior colors available in the US). If you are not in the US then you may also consider the Truffle Brown or the Amethyst, but in the US I would not even give it a second thought.....go with Auburn.
