I found this in my glove box when I bought my 05 545 with manual trans. I tried to look up the part number on real OEm, but it comes up with nothing. There are a few swedish and other non us sites that have it listed as a used part with a description if "console outer front". Does anyone know what it is and where it goes?

Think that's for the seats. For the tracks/rails under your seat. Open the rear doors and look under the seat and see if you're missing a cover.

+ 1 (Covering for the rail), did some one vacuum your car? it usually would come off during vacuuming or cleaning.

LOL. I remember finding both of these for front in my box too and trying to figure out where they go. I just threw them back in there until the love/hate relationship temporarily turned to love one week and I found time to fit them on...this was about 2.5 years after driving it.
