Check in the trunk under the First Aid Kit, quite sure you'll find it there.

i came here on my own. i just googled "BMW E60" and this forum popped up in the results. i just bought my girlfriend an '07 530i over the weekend. i got new wheels for my 645, so i put the iforged from my 6 on the 5. problem is, the iforged is not compatible with the TPM, and an error light is on the dash. i want to remove the fuse that operates the TPM so i can get rid of the error light.

You just need new sensors to recognize the bigger rims. I saw that post from somewhere. You could check with your dealer. Also I don't think that taking out the fuse will disable it. and Damn your gf is a lucky one... Cheers and welcome.

Welcome to the e60.net forum, Chosen1.

525SE is correct. You will need new tire sensors. I don't think they cost too much. I heard around $20 each? I would definitely not recommend disabling the TPM.

Please show some pics of the 530 with the iforged wheels.

Just went through the same issue.

You cannot disable the sensors.

Unfortunately, you need to buy new ones or use the old ones from your old tires.

They cost $40 each from Garry at Newport (25% discounted). You need both the sensor ($30) and the stem ($10).

I was surprised that the tire place told me that it is fairly easy to remove the old ones and transplant them. They just move the tire to the side. Too late for me.

You will of course have to pay for new balancing. You should make sure that the work is done on a Hunter machine.

Those rims your girl picked out look really good on the 6. Any new pics of the 6 or the 5?

Those are 21s right? If it's your girls DD, downgrading to something like 20s would probably be best.

the wheels are 20". they appear bigger because they don't have rivets. no pix yet of the 5, but here are some pix of the 6 (the SL55 is my brother's car):
