I can't get this phone to sync contacts over bluetooth with my car. Wondering if anyone else has the same problem?

I don't have the EVO 3D but I have the EVO 4G with the new Android gingerbread operating system and by what I know It's th OS that's causing the problem. I had an older EVO and the contacts transferred over without any problems and since I had to upgrade to the new OS the contacts won't sync anymore, the caller id doesn't display the names and I can't use the voice command to make calls anymore. The phone book screen on the idrive just keeps saying please wait. Bloody annoying waiting for something that won't happen. Android really needs to come up with a fix for this..

I've had two EVOs and they both synched perfectly and had the latest firmware on them. My new EVO 3D is also having this promblem with contacts. I've noticed that the phone will connect with the car but the second you make a call it will say bluetooth is active. Unlike the EVO that maintain a steady connection.
