Folks,

The driver's side window auto-close function is no longer working and I'm getting the following message on the display
"Power Window Anti-trap function" failure. Do you folks have any suggestions on how to fix it, or do I have to visit the stealer?
Thank you,
Peter

there is a trick to fix that as i had to do it once for some reason.

i wish i could tell you exactly how to do it but i can't remember. it involves raising the window and holding the button for a few secs, then lowering it and holding the button again for a few secs. i think the controller needs to find the limits of travel.

hopefully someone that knows the exact procedure will chime in. it may be on a forum somewhere b/c that's how i found out about it

no need to visit the stealer, they'll charge at least 1000 bucks to fix that.

Thanks to Rudy for posting the instructions on this. I had to start the car, and the 17 sec rule is rather precise. Too long, didn't work. THANKS for posting this as it worked like a charm, and saved me a trip to the dealer!!
